A Blast From the Past

Life through the Lens - Photography by Hendra Lauw

I was going through my archive and found this image that I took at Sri Krishna Rajendra bus terminal in Bangalore, India in 2006. The man was lighting his cigarette as the night was fast approaching.

It was almost 6pm and at ISO 1600 and f/2.8, I only managed to get a shutter speed of 1/60 sec.

Shot with my very first full frame DSLR, the Canon 1Ds Mark II and 70-200mm f/2.8L IS lens. I took a lot of street portraits during my 2006 trip there. I miss India. Anyone want to sponsor?   🙂
