100 Strangers Project - by Hendra Lauw - No. 28

His name is A.J Surazi. He was born in Indragiri, Sumatera, Indonesia, 76 years ago and migrated to Singapore at the age of 12. He is my stranger no. 28.

He started shooting in the 1990s and is now shooting with Leica rangefinder cameras. When I met him yesterday at the Singapore Botanic Gardens, he had his Leica M8.2 with him.

You can check out his photos on his flickr site.

"A photographer and a memory keeper (a.k.a junks collector) who finally decided to quit his day job in 2017 after two decades to focus full time on photography. Check out also his outdoor children, family and pet photography work at masakecil.com.

In 2010, this website won the Singapore Best Photography Blog Award."
