This is the fourth installment of my Olympus PEN E-P3 review, the latest Micro Four Thirds camera from Olympus. If you miss the first three, check them out here, here and here. I shot the images here using the two kit lenses 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 and 40-150mm f/4-5.6. All photos here are the JPEG straight out…

Another review of the new Olympus PEN E-P3. I took the camera out to Little India last weekend with its Olympus M.ZUIKO Digital ED 12mm f/2 lens. What a great lens for street photography it is. Very sharp and nice wide angle coverage. All these images are the JPEG straight out of the camera. No…

First of all, thank you Olympus Singapore for loaning me their new Micro Four Thirds camera, Olympus PEN E-P3 for my testing. This review of the Olympus PEN E-P3 is not a technical review. I will not be talking about those MTF charts to review the performance of their lenses, etc, but more about how…

I walked along the old Singapore – Malaysia railway track, the section between Bukit Timah Station to Ghim Moh last weekend before it’s completely closed for public. Hopefully they will consider it to be opened for public. For photographers like me, the place would be a nice setting for an outdoor family photography session. Too bad it…

I love shooting the people playing Chinese chess at Kreta Ayer market in Chinatown. These two were shot last weekend when I made a quick trip there. Shot with Leica M9 and Zeiss Planar 50mm ZM f/2 lens. Did you like this? Share it:Tweet

I still cannot do this until now. But my daughter was so determined that she kept trying for the past several months until finally, yesterday, when we attended the baptism of my friend’s baby at the church of St. Mary of the Angels, she showed me that she could blow the chewing gum’s bubble. I…

I knew there was already an agreement between Singapore and Malaysia about the Tanjong Pagar Railway Station, but didn’t realize until the night itself when the last train was scheduled to leave for Malaysia at 11pm on 30th June 2011. I quickly rushed to go there at about 10.20pm and got there about 15-20 minutes…

I am getting in love more and more with street photography. There are still lots of things I need to learn and practice about street photography. While there are some basic technical aspects to be aware of, street photography is probably more a way of shooting rather than a genre in photography. You know, shooting…

I shot my own reflection on the rear glass window of a tricycle when I was walking around the Shivaji Nagar market in Bangalore, India. I shot it using Leica M9 and Zeiss Planar 50mm f/2. By the way, after using the Leica M9 for few weeks, let me share what I think about the…

The only thing your child ask from you is your TIME. They don’t care about money. They just want your TIME. My daughter asked me to go to Botanic Gardens with her this morning. She just wanted to have a picnic with me, she said. So, we went and spent about 3 hours there. We…
